Bada Bagh or the Barra Bagh is located on a hill top, around 7 km northwards of Jaisalmer, on the Ramgarh road. An extremely popular tourist destination, Bada Bagh was commissioned in the 16th century by Maharawal Jait Singh. Its construction was completed during the ruler of his son Lunakaran. The Royal Cenotaphs of the erstwhile Maharajas of Jaisalmer, located within the garden complex are known for offering some mesmerizing sunset views. This site also has a dam and a tank.
