Heritage Palace on Wheels, a luxury train, which was earlier known as Palace on Wheels, has customized its itinerary. The modified version will be implemented into service5 from December 1, 2017 onwards.
‘Golden Triangle’ being the first itinerary covers some of the prominent places of India like Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Delhi in a 3 day journey .While the second one comes as a surprise and will take you on a 4 days expedition to offbeat places of the country like Delhi-Churu-Bikaner-Jaipur-Agra and Dholpur and back.
In Churu, the journey will commence with a bus ride to the unexplored Shekhawati region. It will then proceed towards Tal Chapper and Ramgarh and back to Shekhawati. Tourists will embark the train for Bikaner. The trip will resume towards Agra after a lunch break at Dholpur the very same day.
Bearing the exact replica of the exterior of the POW but with revamped interiors, the Heritage Palace on Wheels will run four trips in December.
Taking care of the budget of the people and with an aim to facilitate upper-middle class segment, the train fare has been slashed to almost half of the previous fare. Per night per person charges for both the itineraries will be USD 300.
Both the itineraries are bliss for the short trip lovers and will offer them an experience of a lifetime. Further, this short yet sweet sojourn will cover the essential places yet won’t be burning a hole in the pocket.
Hurry up! As the royal train has given 23 years of excellent hospitality and the new one will be serving for the another two years only. So before you run short of time, visit and explore India luxuriously.
